Tuzla (Turkey) – After the Sprint – the last delivery received from an Italian shipyard, Morini of Ancona, in 2003 – the Fast; the shipowner Ievoli, therefore, continues to move at great speed.
The launch of the latest addition to the Marnavi fleet took place from the slipway of Gemak-TGE, at Tuzla Bay (Asian Turkey), famous for hosting the world’s largest concentration of shipbuilding facilities with 45 shipyards lined up side by side.
The Ievoli Fast, a 6,900 dwt, 8,000 mc., 119 meters loa IMO II coated product chemical tanker, powered by a MAK 3,040 kW engine ensuring over 14 knots, Framo pumps, Sigma Coatings paint system, will be fitted out over the coming months for delivery in early 2008.
